SLOTKER® Who’s on Third?® RULES (2 to 12 players)

SLOTKER® Who’s on Third® is a fun and easy card game inspired by the famous Abbott and Costello comedy sketch, “Who’s on First.”

The objective of Who’s on Third® is for one player to be dealt a card that results in any 3-of-a-kind poker hand or three matching slot machine symbols, using ALL players’ exposed cards.

Since it is possible to have a winner when the third card is dealt, when there are four or more players in the game, it is possible that some players will not even be dealt a single card, before one player wins the pot.

In this game, just as in Texas Hold’Em, the beginning position matters, so to simulate a slot machine’s random number generator, all players are dealt 1 card face up. The highest-ranking poker card (deuce up to ace) will determine the first player position and the first card to be played. If there is a tie with the high card, the first of the tied high cards dealt will be used as the first player position and the beginning card.

HERE’S THE DEAL:

* The cards are shuffled.

* All players ante 1 chip to the pot.

* All players are dealt 1 card face up (to randomly select the beginning position).

* The player having been dealt the highest-ranking poker card (deuce up to ace) determines the beginning position and the first card to be played. All cards, except for the beginning player’s card, are discarded, and the next two cards are dealt to the next two players following the beginning player’s position.

* Once a player is dealt a card that makes any 3-of-a-kind hand with poker card values (above the card suits) or slot machine symbols (below the card suits), out of all player cards exposed, that player is the one who’s on third, and that is the player who wins the pot.

* After the first three cards have been dealt, if there are no 3-of-a-kinds, cards continue to be dealt, clockwise, one at a time, to each player, until one card makes 3-of-a-kind, out of all exposed cards.
